Family is a big part of the culture here at Hers Kickboxing. That's why, this Family Day, we wanted to share our love of Kickboxing with the families of our members.
On Monday February 20th, we hosted two full co-ed classes led by Coach Lilian. It was a pleasure meeting everyone that came out on Family Day to give kickboxing a try! It was a HUGE success and we have decided to announce more co-ed classes going forward. Stay tuned for more details!
To celebrate the success of a Family Day well done, we jumped up into celebratory burpees before enjoying a delicious, healthy protein ball.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Protein Balls
1 scoop vanilla whey protein (1/2 cup)
0.75 cup natural peanut butter (oil drained off the top)
3 Tbsp. mini chocolate chips
0.25 cup ground flax seeds
1 Tbsp. chia seeds
0.5 cup large flake oats
0.25 cup water
Blend everything and roll into balls. Makes approximately 15.

Oreo Cheesecake Protein Balls
1 scoop vanilla whey protein (1/2 cup)
8 oz. Philadephia Light Cream Cheese (not whipped)
30g Cool Whip Lite
0.5 cup Chocolate Wafer Cookie Crumbs
1 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract
15g Fat Free Vanilla Greek Yogurt
Blend all ingredients except the cookie crumbs with an electric mixer or blender. Freeze mixture for approximately 6 hours until scoopable with a melon-baller or ice cream scoop. Once scoopable, make into balls and cover in cookie crumbs. Keep them in the freezer until about 15 minutes before serving.
